You get to build your perfect space for reading and writing. What’s it like?

The perfect space for reading and writing. … Hmm, to be honest, I spent the past 30 years reading for a living. I’m not sure I want to specifically dedicate a space in my home for that.

But for writing and creativity, I need space, an Imaginarium.

This place will have lot of natural sunlight and space for various projects. We have to have shelving to store how-to books I’ll occasionally look at and bins for projects and supplies.

For writing, we’ll have a bunch of notebooks scattered around to jot notes on. We need gel pens and calligraphy pens. Something fancy.

There will be awesome Internet service so I can use that photo editing app and spell-check on a computer.

There will be lots of electrical outlets so I can sit anywhere with my laptop. I prefer a desk, but I could sprawl on a couch or curl into a writer’s book directly under a sunny window and surrounded by pillows.

And we have to have plants so I have a reason to continue to come into the room.

There are hammock-like chairs that “hug” people to provide sensory relief. Weighted blankets and chairs like this would help make the space cozy and safe for writing whatever is on my chest. Candles or diffusers that smell like lavender and the ocean or pine trees are musts as well.

Let your imagination soar in the Imaginarium. That’s the perfect spot for me to express myself.
