I am running a half marathon on May 24. So this week is supposed to be a taper week, where I just do enough exercise to keep my muscles loose.
I want to run. I need to mow and do a bunch of other chores to get ready for this race/weekend.
I don’t taper well. I either go all out or don’t do anything at all.
I will write a race recap of a race I did this past weekend soon. I’ve been slack in doing what I need to do to preserve my sanity.
No time like the present to get back at it. Especially since it’s a taper week.
