This week is suppose to be the start of my official training for a trail half-marathon that is scheduled for late April. And it’s snowing. And cold. And too dangerous for me to go to the gym.
So I’m relying on my family and home for help. I’m breaking out the yoga mat some some serious core workouts, which usually involves a kid jumping on my stomach or back while I work out. I usually don’t minds, except when I’m doing yoga. That’s mommy time, no kids allowed.
With the snow comes the usual clean up of said white powder. So I’m working hard cleaning two properties’ sidewalks once or twice a day. It’s hard work and reminds me of the scenes when Rocky’s training in Russia.
So my 100-day run streak has to end. My exercise streak remains intact.
How to you keep your fitness up during bad weather?
