The week after our first garden post, we had two storms with high-speed wind gusts and a frost warning.
The plants survived everything. Some of our posts and sticks we set up for the pea shoots got knocked out of the ground or were slanted. But it’s all good.
A few weeks ago, I transplanted some randomly growing celery to the garden. It didn’t look like it survival. Then a few days ago, a little piece of the plant started to come to life.
A few strawberries were turning pink the week we started documenting the garden. My youngest son says they are sour but good. Nothing like a juicy, homegrown food.
I noticed that some of the leaves of the plants have been having issues. I gave them some fertilizer and they seem to be OK.
Here are photographs of the garden from this past week.
